Leila Mire has performed with the Tennessee Children’s Dance Ensemble, ClancyWorks Dance Company, George Mason Dance Company, Terre Dance Collective, the Silk Road Dance Company, KYC Dance, NY Light, ICONS, ChoreoNova, among several several others. Her training background primarily revolves around modern, ballet, jazz, tap, salsa, musical theatre, and Middle Eastern dance.
Dance has brought her to Cuba, Haiti, and Jordan in addition to numerous local and national tours. She has trained and performed works by artists such as Randy Duncan, Michael Mao, Stacey Tookey, Christopher d’Amboise, Zoe Scofield, Dante Puleio, Christopher K. Morgan, Ernesta Corvino, Laura Glenn, Paul Dennis, Claire Bataille, Eleo Pomare, David Dorfman, Gesel Mason, and Dr. Adrienne Clancy.
She also performs her own work and has most recently presented at the Bauman Theatre, the National Cathedral, and Green Space. Her latest project involves a collaboration with Nadia Khayrallah that has performed at YallaPunk Festival and Move to Change Festival. The work has also been covered by the Queer Arabs Podcast.
